WHY SHOULD USE THE DETUNING REACTORS?

The growing use of power electronic devices is causing an increasing level of harmonic distortion in the electrical system which very often leads to problems

with capacitor installations. This is the reason why more and more detuning reactors series connected with power capacitor during the installations.

By adding an appropriately rated series reactor to the power capacitor, both elements form a resonant circuit with a resonant frequency below the lowest

order harmonic in the system (usually the 5th). All frequencies above this resonant frequency now see this circuit as inductive hence eliminating the

possibility of dangerous resonances being set up between the capacitors and system inductances.

OUR DETUNING REACTOR

Our filter reactors are made by high-class transformer sheets and copper wire or aluminum band. They are dried and impregnated in vacuum with environmentally

friendly, resin which ensures they can withstand high voltages, have low noise levels, and long service life. The connection of the aluminum reactors is made

through copper terminals as well, which are reliably connected with the aluminum band by a special, well-proven welding method.
Because of a number of advanced technologies, when the reactor in over-temperature operation caused by harmonics, voltage and other factors, the secondary

protective structure will output the control signal to cutoff the switch and start-up the over temperature protection, disabling the reactor connected with grid until

all indicators return to normal.

DNEL coil winded by the H class insulation lacquered aluminum wire keep
the 1.35 x In as the Imax, and the tolerance of inductance ≤±3%.

DNSR coil winded by the H class insulation lacquered copper wire keep
the 1.5 x In as the Imax, and the tolerance of inductance ≤±3%.

DNELB coil winded by the H class insulation lacquered copper foil or
aluminum foil keep the 1.8 x In as the Imax, and the
tolerance of inductance ≤±3%.

Advanced technology of DNSR detuning reactors (medium voltage) have the features of high linearity, high over-current capability and low losses. Vacuum impregnation by special resin material provides better insulation function, high voltage stress, low noise and long service time, as well as water-repellent.

The number and position of air gaps are selected in order to minimize losses in magnetic core and windings. Limbs, yokes and air gaps are blocked by adhesives and pressing elements designed to reduce acoustic noise. The reactors passed by TUV EN 60076-6 certification.
